Ellouise Padilla
A member of the Santo Domingo pueblo located in New Mexico, Padilla comes from a long family tradition of artists. She was taught by her parents Don and Nancy Crespin, noted artists in thier own right. For centuries, Santo Domingo Pueblo indians have been known for the heishi process, the oldest form of jewelry in New Mexico. Ellouise and her family continue this ancient traditon and add to her families legacy with new and diverse designs.
